The ability to communicate and to source out what was needed, be it funding, home support, information, education, treatment and modifications to the home challenged her yet was a great source of satisfaction and accomplishment. It was during this time that Alison entered into the Real Estate field. Using her parent’s friends as her first initial contacts (after all she had all their names and contact info in her parents address book and they knew her) she began to carve out the “senior’s real estate market” as her niche. It was there that she truly experienced the emotional side to a move through the eyes of seniors.

When someone has raised a family and created the energy and synergy of a home the process to sift through that can be a lot for anyone to handle. Alison has witnessed the good-byes to homes, to children and spouses. She has raised a glass of good cheer to love, laughter and loss. It was a true compliment to have been given the responsibility to assist with their moves and to have shared in the gift of yester years. Thanks to the senior’s trust and referrals and her commitment to strive for results not regrets Alison consistently ranked in the top 6 % of the real estate industry. After close to 15 years with Real Estate Alison desired further education and the need to work with people in a new venue.

With the pursuit of further education Alison found herself working with adults in transition; empowering them to discover their full potential through connecting them to resources and programs within their communities. Being familiar with the demographics of the working and retiring workforce it seemed to be timely to implement her interest with working with the aging population and their families once again.

Alison is the youngest of three children and the eldest of six……confusing you say! Yes Alison was adopted and his been reunited with her biological family. Alison is one of creators of “The Forget Me Not Family Society” a non-profit resource providing educate to adoptees and families surrounding adoption. Alison not only is an advocate for people but animals as well. She has worked diligently over the years to help rescue animals and is one of the original creators of the Royal City Humane Society.
