Are you insured and bonded?
Most certainly we carry insurance not only with Work Safe BC we also subscribe to “Bond insurance”. Our employees under go a back ground check and must provide references which are also confirmed. Everyone at Compass Senior’s Services Inc., goes through an extensive training program from the first day they start. All of our employee’s act and look professional. Fully insured for your protection.
What are your rates?
Most services are billed by the hour and one can purchase any denomination of a gift certificate of hours or services. There is not expiry date on these certificates. Most services for transportation and shopping start at $30.00 per hour plus HST. Fees for services of relocation are assessed on the scope of work. Keep in mind that we can assist with A to Z or we can take on the pits and peaces that you need us for. Often families like to do some of the work and hand some off to Compass Senior’s Services it’s your call. Again we meet with you to listen and understand your needs. Your best interest is our only interest.
Are your estimates free?
Yes and as much as we would like to keep fuel costs to a minimum and provide an estimate for services over the phone that would not be fair. We like to meet with you to understand your over all needs and provide a true quote based on the scope of work.
Do you collect sales tax?
Yes by law we are required to collect HST.
What payments do you accept?
We accept cash, cheque, money order or major credit cards Visa and MasterCard. All returned cheques will carry a penalty of $30.00.
Do you do home support?
Compass Senior’s Services Inc. does not provide medical support as that is not our area of expertise. We can how ever introduce you to home support professionals in your community that you may wish to consider.
How long does it take to relocate i.e. sorting, packing ect.?
Following a complimentary consultation we can normally schedule our staff to begin immediately. Before any work commences we first determine your time line and provide you with an accurate estimate for the scope of work to be completed. If you need to be moved immediately we will see that your needs are met.
